Although at first we weren't sure about the idea of open cabinets, we grew to truly love them, even though we ended up thinning out what we owned to make a prettier display.

Although the lighting in this space is awkward and the wrong size, we went ahead and hung it anyway. These pendants used to hang on either side of our bed in the last loft and we didn't want to spend our pennies on something new. They've served their purpose, even if they don't look the best.
Instead of paying to frame this oversized piece of art, we simply used bulldog clips to hang it from and also to hold it down so it doesn't curl up or warp.
This is the wall treatment in the master bath. The rest of the bathroom is pretty rental standard, but the book pages that have been pasted up and then stained over give a neat effect. We're pretty sure we've read 85% of the novel over the course of the year.
